Description of Significance THE W.C. BAKER HOUSE IS THE BEST PRESERVED EXAMPLE OF AN AIRPLANE BUNGALOW IN THE CITY OF ALTUS. THIS TWO STORY STUCCO HOME EXHIBITS THE CLASSIC ELEMENTS OF THE CRAFTSMAN STYLE, INCLUDING EXPOSED RAFTERS, BATTERED COLUMNS, AND RIBBON WINDOWS. THERE ARE TWO SMALL OUTBUILDINGS, INCLUDING A SMALL GARAGE BEHIND THE HOUSE. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 12/16/2005.
